I got out of bed today, hopped to the bathroom…and the ankle started throbbing almost instantly. How am I suppose to sit at a desk for 8+ hours when I can barely keep it on the ground for 10 minutes w/o it throbbing? /sigh

Friday the 18th didn’t serve as an omen to something bad rather it was the day we set off on our journey to Madison, Wisconsin. A friend named Dan Allen got into law school there and he wanted to check out places to take residence and we tagged along to make a trip out of it. It was about a 6 1/2 hour trip there however to Meow it was prob more like an hour to him…
Side Note: Whenever a car horn honks, blame it on Dan Allen. Anyway, as soon as we found a parking garage we hit the streets to explore. Imagine Ann Arbor but bigger, lots of shops and bars and places to eat.
The campus was very nice and it has the library that was voted by Playboy magazine as the best place to meet people of the opposite sex without alcohol. There was stretch of windows along the back of the library so you could see the entire lake…wish we had a picture of it :-/ I thought the best thing to note was their Union. It sat right next to the lake and at night it was a popular gathering lighted by some street posts and dancing boat lights in the water. It was a cool place to sit back and drink a few beers with your buddies.
If your ever there, check out the Kollege Klub. Sexy and classy women, well lit, no smoking, and non-stinky..what else can you ask for?
In the morning we checked out and headed to Chicago. It was awesome there even if the cab drivers are crazy. Theres not many places where you can eat at a T.G.I. Fridays and feel kinda classy. We visited a friend there that just moved into a studio apartment with a great view of navy pier. Yeah, he’s a lucky bastard.
After hitting the pier we headed out for the night where we met up with Amy, Karen, her brother and bunch of other people.
It was a lot of fun to sit around with your friends and just being out. And even though our Dan couldn’t go, he definitely was not forgotten.
I hate Detroit more than ever. There’s nothing to do and you can’t head out in the middle of the night like in Chicago and walk or take the train and find something to do. I need more of that. More pictures is in the Gallery. Next stop, Philly/NY?

Defeated at his own game BIOTCH!

Kidding aside, I’d like to pick up an SLR camera before the summer is over, maybe a Nikkon DX40, and take one good head shot of all of, you know the kind where the back ground is blurry and the morning sunlight just before and after the actual rise.
For Glory

Got my laptop from Jmyers on friday, had some difficulties with installing WoW TBC, so I just downloaded it from the web - took about 2 hours for 1.3 gigs. Finished installing the cabinents at Karen’s place, Bdizzle and Chef really helped out, thanks! BTW the “2nd Loft” is orange now!
Trying to plan a reunion for my high school class - not sure if were gonna get enough people interested, but I am leveraging technology to try and see. Funny how I would be the one to not have a myspace account till now, check it… here
Being a “single parent” this weekend was tough…mainly because I was about to kill the dog this morning. The picture is @ the fountain in DT Warren. The area is getting nicer than one might think, hopefully some shops move in soon. The other pic is of the goose that has attacked me since the end of april…bad karma mr. goose, because none of the eggs hatched

Ok boys…time to do you research. Since this weekend…the BBA arena has been improving by leaps and bounds since Dokano respecced to resto. Admittedly I had no idea what talent points he should place his points in because frankly… IAM NOT A SHAMAN, but I digress…
The following are the most popular PvP builds for the highest ranking Arena Teams. I saw some amazing things we could do to improve our Arena points for 3v3 and hopefully 5v5 soon.
For example Trucido’s build is ALL WRONG apparently, the TOP warrior builds by an overhelming 28+% of the population is a hybrid build.
Go check out your build, understand these new ones and Respecc if need be, especially memebers of BBA Arena Team! Unless of course you think your build is better…that’s what comments are for. For Glory!
Mage and Druid…go do some research

So..the church had a retreat this weekend. And you know, wherever there’s a retreat, me and my digital camera are there! ..yea, you’re looking down, and there are no pictures. That’s right..I learned something from this retreat:
The button “REFORMAT” or “FORMAT” …means ERASE ALL.
..technology and and their …technologic lingo, not to mention my lack of common electronic gismo sense.
I shall be saying this with a sigh.
Somewhere down the hallways of Columbiere Retreat
Two choices arose [ok] [format], and I –
picked the one less sensible..
And that…has made all the PICTURES GO AWAY..!!
–inspired by Robert Frost’s Road Not Taken.
crap darnit.

Since everyone is busy with their “hectic” lives to post, I decided to do a nice review of our lives for the past few weeks…
A new baby is welcomed into the family, his name is Jonathan Tien “Solar Flare” Dok, and he is exactly 1 month old as of today. The baby is relatively quiet except when he wants something like food or a diaper change. Unfortunately he sleeps during the day and wakes up in the night but thats not my problem so booya.
A new member into our clan is of course Brady the wonder dog, very loving but not a good watch dog. Dogs should bite ninjas not kiss them.
kaga has recently graduated, celerbrating his hard work with a steak with amy. You would think he would have his mage a 70 but nope it appears the curse is broken. I am more proud of him for that then his graduation.
After a nice night at the bar, Jdo doing what he does best.
Sarah somehow beats the DokaDo at poker, she claims she hasn’t played in a long time but I think she was just lowering our defenses by being girly. Can a ace fill in a low straight? Come on, is this amateur hour?!
Not a recent picture, but I might as well end it off with some brotherly love.
P.S-summer is around the corner and I hope more post and ninja videos will pop up.

I just wanted to show some proof of Gmaster JDo, and Meow (you can kind of see his head past the girl) breaking it down in a CLUB!! Who would have ever thought?!
